HISTORY OF SARD
SARD (Sigma Automotive Racing Development)
In 1972, 34 years ago, we established SIGMA Automotive, the predecessor of SARD, and began to participate in the Fuji GC Series. In 1973, the following year, we developed SIGMA MC73, a pure domestic race machine, and participated in the LE Mans 24-Hour race, marking the first participation as a Japanese team. Since then, we have been deeply involved in motor sport. Today, we participate together with a SUPRA in the All-Japan Grand Touring Car Championship (JGTC) as Toyota Team SARD, a part of the Toyota Works. While continuing our motor-sport activities, we are developing tuning parts for street cars. Making an early introduction of now-familiar turbo charger into street cars, we have developed bolt-on turbo kits and various tuning parts to meet the greatly increased power output enabled by turbochargers. As a result of our endeavor, we have succeeded in positioning ourselves as an all-round tuning parts manufacturer. We develop, manufacture and distribute the following parts for the total tuning and coordination of individual cars.
Engine parts: Turbochargers, Wastegates, Fuel parts, Cooling system Foot work parts: Suspension kits, Brakes Electronics: Meters, Computers Exterior parts: Aero parts, GT Wings, etc......
